Just to keep it in one place I have uploaded the ARX to reverse the wheel mouse direction in AutoCAD/MDT.

Unzip it and put it with the rest of the ARXs in your AutoCAD directory. Start AutoCAD and type APPLOAD. Find the arx file and the zoom direction will be reversed. You can also add it to the Statup Suit so that it loads every time.

Sean,

I had downloaded and installed this ARX back in May, but I just realized the other day (I don't use MDT that often) that it caused all of my MDT dialog boxes that have scroll bars (File Open, etc.) to scroll the wrong way (i.e. up is down). Has anyone else seen this, and is there a way to fix it?

If not, I think I'll just have to go back to having MDT zoom in the opposite direction as IV. I seem to keep forgetting that the ARX is running anyway and, even though I use IV more, when I'm back in MDT I still find myself zooming in the wrong direction! :bang: I guess I'd rather have to adjust my zoom mentality then have to rework the connections in my brain that control/perceive which way a scroll bar should work.

-Tony

Not sure Tony. I only use AutoCAD to glance at layouts or measure something quickly so I didn't notice this.

I don't have or use the arx but your probably right, Tony.

I'm guessing that while trapping the wheel event, they didn't filter out any child windows.

In 2007 and probably some previous versions you can use the ZOOMWHEEL command. It defaults to "0", which is the reverse of Inventor. Change it to "1" and the functionality swaps, so that it is the same as IV.
