When printing, in my 2010 version (unlike with SW 2006), checking the High Quality box in the Page Setup dialogue does nothing. Our HP Designjet 500ps makes prints in which curves have jagged edges even though I have anti-aliasing enabled. It's exactly the same whether or not I have that High Quality box checked. Could this be a driver problem?

Shaded views or lines?

Also seen cases where the model is still loading in the background or the views are still rebuilding, you get a "draft" quality representation of the drawing views. Usually there's an hour glass on the view icon in the tree when that happens though.

Thanks for responding, Gil- No, it's nothing like that, though. I could wait a week for it to load, and I'd still get the same schmutzy drawing -This only happens with shaded views (But they're still cooler looking, are more clear, and look more proffessional than line dwgs -at least for exploded view assembly drawings, that is, IMHO)

Chris,

If you go to the Options window and look at the Document Properties for your drawing there is a options page for Image Quality. There is a resoltion slider for shaded views and one for Wireframe/Hidden Line views. Does changing the resolution for shaded views make any difference in your print quality?

Another thing to check, I can't remember if SW2010 still had a setting for High/Draft quaility views. If you select a view and look in the Feature tree/Property Manager do you see radial buttons to set teh view quality to either High or draft? In 2011 there is a system option to control view quailty under Options -> Drawings -> Display Style, but I don't know if the option was there in 2010 or not.
