Just a quick poll to see how many people use iGoogle? Well, I just found it the other day (Please forgive me if I am way behind the times :) ). The neat part is you can add the RSS feed from mCADForums and see a preview of all the new posts.

I used to, I also tried Google Gesktop, neither really did it for me though. I did like the the word of the day widget on iGoogle though.

Recently I set my homepage to the random button on Wikipedia, thinking it would force some trivia on me. But most of the articles that come up are not anything special, and I don't find myself reading them even if they are.

iGoogle is the awesome. One tab for news, one for funnies, one for forums, and one for blogs. Cuts a whole bunch of wasted time, and trying to remember things i meant to check on, and things like that...

I use iGoogle as my home page - MCadforums reader, google calendar, sticky notes, gmail plus more.

I have like 50 feeds or so on my iGoogle page.
Tried the google reader, but I had the issue that a lot of old posts all of a sudden came back. So I stick with iGoogle.
Took me hours before this to check all my favorite bookmarks! :bang:

iGoogle here :D

...been using it for a few years now...have 25+ feeds running on my CAD tab alone...which also happens to be my primary tab of 7...mCADForums is always top and center of the CAD page! ...lots of goodies such as the Gmail widget! ...its great to quickly scan literally hundreds of websites, blogs, forums, and news or custom search within seconds! ...so you don't end up with 100 browser windows or tabs opened at one time (ref from the Google Chrome post) like Sean stated in a previous post a while back..."Why in the hell would you EVER have 40 - 50 tabs open" ;) ...now you don't...just setup rss feeds on your iGoogle homepage :D

...I agree with Stefaan...Google Reader is OK, but not as powerful as iGoogle, although I have seen lots of duplicate posts sometimes with iGoogle too :(

oooo I am going to have to add that! I spent an hour adding calendars and setting up the news and random quote items. Now I am addicted to Hangman...

I told my husband about how to customize so we can view the same calendar. Ten minutes later I hear, "Hey I can add the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model of the day!"

I guess iGoogle is saving the day, one game of hangman or bikini a day....
