Hi guys. Here's another etching question.

I'm designing a sissy bar mount for a motorcycle and am trying to etch some pinstriping pattern into it. I drew up the pattern (mostly with splines), and am trying to etch the pattern into the piece.

I'd like the lines to be .05" thick and .025" deep. The problem is, use the offset option.

Any ideas? The file is attached below

Not sure how to get the depth you want but this is my method using the Split face tool for pad printing the symbols. I had to break it down to simple sketches using Sketch 6 as a reference template. May give you some clues as to the way forward.

That seems to work on some of the lines, just not all of them

See if you can use Wrap feature.

That might work, the issue is that it's just intersecting lines right now. I need to be able to do an offset, or a thin feature to thicken them up and it's not letting me. If I try what Areva said, it will let me offset some of the lines, but not all of them for some reason. :-\

If you do wrap, you can use multiple sketches and they can cross each other.

Convert all of them to construction first. Then you can offset them one by one. You new problem is closing the ends.
In fact I can't wrap to the side surfaces.
