Someone has sent me an eDrawing, exported from Mechanical Desktop, which is stuck with a Black BG & White lines like CAD of yester-year...

Is there anyway of inverting this - or even going monochrome, or anything that anyone can suggest that won't result in a big black blob in my Drawing border when I insert it?

(Before you sufggest it: Trying to get the original DWG or get them to swap before creating eDrawing is just not happening!)

Thanks,

In the eDrawing, inder Tools->Options will it let you change the background colors? I don't know if there is a way to change the line colors.
How are you inserting an eDrawing in to your SolidWorks Drawing, I never knew you could do this, does it act like an eDrawing in SolidWorks or does it convert it?

Hey Todd,

I am inserting it as a picture!! LMAO, - No you can't import an edrawing directly, - mores the pity...

I was trying to "invert" the image, so I could then:

1) Save it as a jpeg out... To then
2) Open SWX2007,
3) Open ***.slddrw,
4) import object,
5) create new,
6) "Microsoft Photo Editor 3.0 image",
7) Open from existing file,
8) (browse to File),
9) Close Photo editor

& Voila!!

Nice and simple, I think you'll agree!!
