Make sense?

Yes, it does. I can always use your 'different customer config.' for my mono-assembly drawings. As a workaround I could also put my tooling info (that is displayed in the titleblock) into a separate configuration as well.
Why is there actually a 20-row-limit in your program?

Currently there is becuase it was making the arays run too slow. The new way I will be doing it will allow me to run a bit faster and hence have more rows.

What about adding the total mass of a part or assembly to the iprops?

I know there is a macro doing this thingie but wouldnt it be easier using the iprops?

That's in V2. I was going to keep it for V3.

What about adding a box to check so it will capture the preview window of the part? If I change the material of the part and unclick the "Retain Color" box, the part changes to the color of the new material. Then I have to go to File>iProperties.... to capture the display of the change.

Would be nice if this was somehow incorporated in the interface.

You mean update the thumbnail of the file? Pretty sure that's doable.

On all the other Inventor dialog boxes, the ESC key will cancel out of the command. Is there anyway pressing the ECS key would also cancel the iProp Wizard dialoge?

Setting the ESC-key to cancel the iProp Wizard is an easy thing to do...

Select your "Exit" or "Cancel" button and set the Cancel property to True. Note: only 1 button can have the Cancel Property set to True.

You can also have 1 button as the "Default-button". Setting Default to True will activate the button when someone presses Enter.

Cheers!

I figured it was easy, just haven't looked at code in a few days...

Thanks!

Here is a very early alpha. A few things to note.

1. This is only the setup portion of the program. There is no runtime module.
2. To run this unzip the file to a directory and then run install.exe If it asks you to overwrite a file say no.
3. Start up IV and start a file (IPN, IAM, IDW, IPT)
4. Then run the exe.
5. You'll get a FlexCell grid registration message (I haven't bought the OCX yet). Just click OK.

In the final version this will of course be a toolbutton fired add-in. It's just easier to debug as an exe. Also it will be a LOT faster.

Let me know if you crash it. Also let me know how you like the configuration aspect of the program.

A few comments on how to use configurations.

1. Set up the properties the way you want them.
2. In the configuration pulldown type in the name of the new configuration
3. Click on Save Configuration As..
4. Click Apply (this step will go away soon)
5. To change configs, select the one from the list and then click Apply Configuration

Currently all of the config files are stored in the INIFiles directory but this will be user configurable in the final version (e.g. store them on a server for all users to use).

Can we use this version concurrently with the last version loaded?
