Yeah the fine print is pretty fine and a little faint too. But it was a wee bit humerous as Sean starts to go off on himself about how busy his life is. I know if I kept as much stuff on my plate as he does my wife would be all over my a** about it. :x

A good exercise in how nice the Inventor sketching enviroment is, in comparison to MDT...I'm still using MDT for all my part drawings, partly because I've several thousand MDT drawings, and also because of my preference to the MDT drawing enviroment (IV idw files just don't have the "look" of a MDT annotated drawing...IMHO....So here's my entry.

I re-read the rules and they don't mention forgotten submissions.

Like a dumb-ass I forgot to submit the tiebreaker part.

Attached Tiebreaker Part.

Easy stuff. I only had some problems with number 4 for some reason. I just couldn't visualize it. Oh well, everything else was pretty easy. I know I won't win but it gave me something to do.

Here's Mine.

I haven't had to do that since my pre-employment test @ GE in 1971.

When I was a kid (years ago) my Dad :!: , who was a tool-maker, used to give me these as puzzles when I was hanging out in his workshop.

Thanks for bringing back so many fond memories. :)

Hardest part was the realization that I had no way to print to pdf on my home pc :loco: Finally found a free creator & got it all into a single multi-page pdf.

Sue

I'll just say that there are two possibilities. Go with the most obvious and common machined feature.

As long as they are PDFs I don't care what modeler they were made with.
