Yes but I've heard good things about their casings (quiet, dissipate heat well etc..)

Solid construction, too. The main shell is 0.093" thick cast aluminum in 2 interlocking pieces. The front is cast too, and the back is stamped.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one, but you might be able to save some $$$ with a cheaper housing if it's just going to sit on the desk. I paid just over $200 each in December.

Rigid alum. casing isn't a great thing - good for heat dissipation - but not good for shock and vib isolation.

I bought my Buslink 'cause it looked like they used soft end-caps - but it was just rigid ABS. A Plastic case which provides heat transfer would be better IMHO.

We put that on a few prints one time. The toolmakers looked at us a bit funny.

I used to have the title block default description as Blah blah blah blah with Fred and Barney as the engineer and drafter. I thought it was SOOOO obvious that everyone would catch it and change it. You would be amazed at how many prints made it out to suppliers that way.

Just got my 120GB Western Digital USB/Firewire drive today from a nice gal on eBay. $100 + shipping. I'm happy :D

I seiously think writing to this thing is faster than writing to my internal SCSI drive... :o
