Dear all please find a macro attached with this thread. This macro extacts all the properties of all the the configurations of part and displays in the form, where you can add, delete and update the properties. But validation is not done for this macro

This may look like simple, but very useful and afterwards we can export part properties to database.


This is done using SW2004 and VBA.

I expect feed back from our mcadforum team, so that we can improve this macro,

If anybody have suggestions about making anyother macros, I request them to raise threads in this forum.

When I run this macro, I get "run-time error '94': Invalid use of Null" after I hit Update.

I am running 2005, so that may have something to do with it.

I do not have 2005. Here I am using 2004 and I am not having any problem.

I am doing the following stops

1. A part file should have been opened.
2. then run the macro
3. you will get all the file properties.
