This is from AU 2004 in Vegas just after I receive the design innovation award. The real amazing part of this photo are the two gentlemen on either side of me. I had not seen either of them for almost twenty years. The one on my left is Prof. Bill Moore who taught me hand drafting and the one on my right is Prof. David Steinhower (sp?) who taught me AutoCAD. The fact that they were there when I receive this award was one of those rare lifetime moments that will be hard to repeat.

Wow, that's pretty neat Todd. I remember that night. It was the Tabu night. Well I remember the beginning of the night at least ;)

Yep that was at Tabu.

It was almost as if that night was just as much for those two gentlemen as it was for myself. I remember looking over at them as I received the award from Buzz and they were both standing with my wife just as happy as clams. My wife and I were newlyweds when I was in their classes so they new her also.

I also went stubbling a little out of Tabu that night. At which point the older Prof. (Bill Moore) proceeded to teach me all the ins and outs of how to play craps. As he was explaining and showing me he lost $50 bucks quickly. He says "damn Todd that was an expensive lesson". However, we then walk to another table where he won it right back.

Here's the only ones I have available of me at the moment. First one is a self portrait for the photography forums, and the other one is goofing around with a fisheye lens...or after a hard day modelling problematic parts. :)

No, I just drink at the same bars all the time.

When I do get asked for ID, though, and show them my driver's license that shows I was born in '72 which makes me 33 and soon to be 34 years old, I get comments like, "very nice job" or "tell your brother I said, 'Hi'."
