Hi all
Upon launching Inventor (during the splash screen), another drafty is getting the following error: "General IO error creating update backup. Problems were ancountered while attempting to update iPropWiz 5. Please contact your administrator for a manual update"
I had him run Inventor as administrator and it now launches fine but upon trying to launch iPropWiz he gets the following error: "The configuration folder could not be accessed. Ensure you have read/write access to the folder. E:\..."
The user has full control of the folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Grant,

Let's get the user up and running first.

1. Delete or rename the \Updates folder below your configurations folder.
2. Have them delete the following file on their machine.
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\C-Cubed\iPropWiz 5\iPropWiz 5.config

When they next start the iPropWiz property editor, they will have to reselect the location of the configuations folder.
