the acmin.xml file is in a subdirectory of my main IPropWiz configuration folder name "iPropWiz Admin$". It appears because of the $ in the name that I can not push this into my Vault. I typically push all of my setup type of stuff (templates, styles, add-in configs) into the Vault and then keep them checked out to myself on my machine for protection. Is the $ in this subdirectory name necessary to the function of the program?

It is at the moment. There is no harm in discarding it, you would just reset your password to blank if it were to be lost.

OK this does concern me a bit. I am running a single project Vaulted environment where all files and configurations are on the local drive. Most of these files are protected by the Vault by being kept checked out to myself on my local machine. Obviously files like the iPropWiz configuration would not physically pay attention to the Vault hook locally except that being checked out on another machine makes the files be read only. So by what you are saying if the admin subdirectory is either missing the $ in it's name or is missing altogether the admin password would be set to blank. This would allow any user on any machine to edit and change the configuration file on that machine. So in order to protect the configuration I would need to physical make sure that there is a admin subdirectory with a $ in the name on each machine. If this was a Vault push it would just happen when I pushed all the other standard content down. However, since the Vault has issues with the $ I can not go that route. I will just have to put into my documents I use to built up the workstations a step to copy this subdiretory down to the local configuration.

For now that would be a method to get around this. We'll look at removing the $ for V6
