In an IDW can you force IV to show 0" in a dimension?

Example: IV shows 4' but I need it to show 4'-0". Seems so simple (and it probably is) but I can't get it to work. I've got "Display Trailing Zero set to "on".

TIA

I know this is a stupid question but do you have the units set to feet (FT)?

The only other thing I would suggest is create a dim style called
ARCHITECTURAL UNITS - FT (even only) and then go to the Prefix/Suffix tab and type - 0" (that's dash/space/zero/Quotes) in the suffix. Then use that dim style only for even length dimensions.

Then in the future modify the part - to say 6'-3" and forget to change the dim style back and then your dimension will read 6'-3"-0" and then you'll look just plain silly in the shop's eyes.

Hey Ron... I didn't say the solution was desirable/perfect/without its drawbacks... just that there is a work around however dumb it is. :D

Yes the dimension style of units is set to ft. The problem with the suffix approach is that the ft/in is an Alternate Unit (millimetesr is the primary) so the measurement is enclosed in brackets.
