In item 6 below there is a way to kind of do this the trick is to author and publish a custom pipe iPart that includes the end treatments you need. You will essentially have to create an end treatment option for each end then use offset work planes to set a node for engagement adjustments. So for example you have a run that contains welded and Victaulic connections you will need a pipe iPart that has an EndTreatment key column for Plain End (PE) and Victaulic End (VIC). It can be rather large though because you need members for PExPE, PExVIC, VICxPE and VICxVIC. You create a style using your custom pipe and create a route, after populating the route you can then go back and 'change the size' of specific pipe components in the route but you only choose the appropriate end treatment key column based the direction the route is running.

1. Automatic constraints added when routing pipe in tube and pipe.. If I drew it horizontal or vertical then it

Wish list
1) For a Custom Center Make more Windows Like be able to move folders and parts inside the content center and not have to republish it into a new folder drag & drop functionality
2) be able to save to a local drive or a network folder is the vault has issues with out losing all your work
3) better 2d drafting tools like Autocad , some stuff is still better in 2d
4) be able to create sub folders in the browser tree like in a .iam file, why you would do it for a certain file type in inventor and not the other is baffling, can create in .iam but it does carry over to the .ipn file ? why ? its the same file it should copy the same file structure as the .iam file
5) along with #4 create standard sub folders to help sort your files in the .ipn file or even in the .iam it would be up to the user whether or or not he uses them or not

Add option to "Accept and Suppress" conflicting constraints, to make setting up positions less painful.

Scratch that, even better, add a check box to the constraint window that makes any constraints made with it on come in suppressed.

1. There should be a better way to simplify parts. It is harder to simplify parts if a larger assembly, sent via some lazy Solidworks users, does not have a proper level of detail. Maybe there could be an envelope creation possibility per the .ipt (part files), like how Inventor Simplification works, as well as a level of detail for the parts, as well as the ability to use a substitute. There already exists a great workflow regarding sub assemblies. Why not create the same exact type of workflow for the parts as well? The programming for that should not be difficult to do, as it is already there... basically.
