Yes but is this a stable condition? It appears you must crash DS in order to make this option happen. That does not sound like a very stable condition to set yuor system up in.

...2012 seems to be a bastard release...glad I've not made the early jump...

I still believe if they just would of updated the classic Windows 95 style to the new Windows 7 style...they would of made leaps and bounds...but NO they jump the gun and played a risky hand which was dealt by the dealer "Microsoft" ...who's not been the most liked trend setter lately...

Regretably since I am adding new softwares to my contract I must go forward with 2012. I did post a thread in the adsk ng asking an adsk personnel to respond on the stability of setting the classic UI.

Typically they will not officially support registry changes as recommended operating modes. My suggestion is to try it on one seat and see how it goes. Realistically however you need to just bite the bullet and go with the ribbon. It's here to stay like it or hate it.

The one part I really don't like about it is the way Kwikprints looks in it. With the ribbon docked up top you have to have the button as regular size to see the discriptions. It looks better on the side.

Kwikprints is great. Used it for years. But have you tried SwiftPrints?

I already own 14 seats of Kwikprints so was setting that up with my upgrade. Are you saying you are using both or have switched.

Ok gave SwiftPrints a try but it shrink my plots. Kwikprints puts out the plots the same size as you would get by setting up the page with Iv and then plotting. SwiftPrints shrunk them by 5~10 mm on each side!

The only thing I can not use Kwikprints for is A and B size prints to my plotter. My boarders require the plotter driver page size to be set to Oversize for these and Kwikprints won't do that.

Your right, Swift Prints defaults to "Best Fit". I can add a scale
option if desired. I opted for simplicity to start. (it's still free)

I'll look into improving the functionality.

I was not knocking your tool. I like your simple interface and the fact that you reside in the add-in area with all others in IV2012.
I am a big proponent of paying for a site license of an add-in that truely fits my needs. To date I have site covering licenses for using iPropWiz, Kwikprints, and iColorize (I know this one is very much like one of your old ones).

So that being said let me give some opinions on what I as a user would like to see this one do that I think it does not at the moment.

1) The ability, like you mention, to select something other than "best fit". I personally always plot at Model 1:1 unless I am forcing something like a C size onto an A Size.

2) An easy method to sort and arrange the plotter definitions. I may not define them in the order I want to present them. Just now with Kwikprint I had to redevelop a bunch of buttons because I deleted a some in the middle of the list.

3) Access to ALL the available papersizes of the print driver you are pointing at. With Kwikprints I can not select "oversize" sizes.

4) I noticed that you have an export and inport button. Is that "per" each plotter definition or can export all the defined plotters at once? As you can image I would sit at my station and define all the plotters I wish to present but them must make this present itself to all my users. With iPropWiz and Kwikprints thee is a defined configuration file that is being developed in my roaming profile for that. All I have to do is rob mine and batch force it upon the masses.

#1 and 2 could be done. Not quite sure about #3 but I'll see what I can do.
#4 is how it works, all configs are exported. I really appreciate the feedback. Keep it coming!
