I'm no closer to releasing it. To be honest after my last add-in I'm probably not going to release any more free software.

I have not seen one single donation on more than 235 downloads. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Can iPropWizard be accessed via a RMB on the filename like standard iProps? This would be handy for editing mutliple custom properties. Or is there another tool for that?

TIA

Pete

I keep "refining" things here in our templates and I've just ran into the 20-parameter limit... :-( I need, at this point, 24 fields. I even tried to cheat by hand-editing add'l "PropX" into the registry but it ain't that simple. :-)

Nope. 20 is the limit. Sorry...

You really fill out 24 different fields for every part? I don't think I've ever used more than about 8 or 9.

In the end, the goal is to use it for filling in the title blocks on drawings. We can do it all through iProperties, of course, with plenty of "Custom" fields, but we want it on ONE screen, with only the fields we need. This is where your tool could be REALLY nice for us.

To be honest, the limit hit me when I was revising a part and realized I had no way to list the details for rev 1 and then rev 2. I had about 18 fields to fill in. We like to have some "history" on the drawing so we don't want to show just the rev details for the current part. Our *old* 2D drawings -- ones done on pre-printed borders -- had (6) rev # fields ! Over the years we continue to reduce this number on our title blocks and in fact it's down to (2) right now.

I did eliminate some less-used fields in the process too. I'll probably fine-tune it some more too.
