While I don't plan on doing my own accoutning it is nice to keep track of inflow and outlay. Which package do you use? Pros/cons of each?

(QuickBooks, Quicken, Peachtree, NetSuite?)

I think most community colleges teach quickbooks, from what I hear it isn't real cheap. Quicken - I won't use Intuit's products.

I use Peachtree - ( my accountant uses Quickbooks )

Either package is comparable ( IV vs SW ).

Find a CPA and use their recommendation.

If you watch Office Max / Staples adds you can periodically get Peachtree for cheap. ( Sometimes Quickbooks too! )

LOL - should have known. I don't use accounting software but my wife is going to college to be an accountant so I did some asking around and for small business quickbooks seemed to be very popular and is part of many of the schools curriculum.
