Does anyone have knowledge regarding SW2007's favorites functionality?
And, am I the only one that doesn't have the secret decoder ring for this?
It seems very confusing - IMO, a horrible interface.

I have a network folder in which we access common stuff like general notes. This location is setup in options, file locations, dimension/annotation favorites.

I've saved a block of text (general notes) as a ".sldnotefvt" file, and have been using it for some time. Now, I want to modify this text and can't seem to get it to update. I've deleted the file on the server and saved what I thought was the updated text, but...... no - the previous text block comes in. Yes, I've deleted the favorite from the drawing and "reloaded" the newly saved file - um.... at least I thought I did..... arrrrgh!

Please help.
Thanks.
SBM

Ok - I did it... *whew*

I guess one must save the favorite in the context of the drawing file first, then write it to the network folder.......

cheers,

Yup. Took me just that long to figure it out when I first played with them too. :)
