I'm using SWX 2006. I cannot figure out how to add additional leaders or additional jogs to an existing note.

Work-around
If I create a multi-jog leader it is not readily apparent how to create the initial dog-leg with out an arrow and attach to a note that was created without a leader. I finally figured it out but this is an lot of work for something so simple. Has this been fixed in SWX 2007?

There is a multi jog leader tool in Annotations that will snap to a note. So a note can ahave a regular leader...or you can turn it off and use the Multi job leader tool. To add additional arrowheads, select the leader....the control drag the green handle at the end of the arrow.

2007 has fixed this a bit......the multi jog is an option in the property manager now...also you can just right click the leader and add jog points.

I kind of thought the image I posted showed that I had done all of that.

That is closer to my question - but do you have to create the note and the multi jog separately, change an arrowhead to none and then attach to the note? In Inventor this is trivial.

Or at least I thought it was. Let me check on that.

No, just right click the note leader, and select "add jog point"

OK, that must be a change in r2007.
Unfortunately edu license is limited to latest release - 1. I don't see that option in r2006.

Also, does that allow you to add additional leaders to a note or just more jog points?

I think adding jog points to a note leader is new to 07.

just control-drag the end of the leader to create the additional leader - this is available in SW06

"Insert New Branch" will add additional leaders......or the control drag the arrow endpoint works as well.

I also discovered that if I Ctrl select several entities before starting the Note command that an arrow will be placed to each entity.
