I suddenly find myself 'temporarily' laid-off.
I am a Mechanical Technologist with about 20 years experience.
Most of my years have been spent designing in AutoCAD, Inventor and some AutoCAD MEP.
I have experience in all aspects of business due to being self-employed for most of my years.
Additional things I can do are
- project management
- database development
- audio/video production
- and am quite adept in MS Office programs

For privacy reasons I don't want to post my resume for just anyone to see, but I can point you to my website http://www.alanci.com and if you can substantiate that you are a serious lead, I can forward you my resume.

My current employer has stated that they will call me back when things pick up, but I don't want to hold my breath so I am considering both full-time and short-term solutions. My willingness to relocate depends on the the offer though my preferences do lie within Ontario and within Canada.

Doing work remotely is possible as I have an office with Inventor Suite set-up at home.

Hope you could find good jobs! According to me, you can establish your own company and work for yourself since you have so many years experience.

HAD my own business for many years (and still do) but we needed a change from the stress of "feast or famine".

the good news is that I found work again.
