Was very excited to go see this movie ...because I want my boys to see this movie ...however the nearest location is Georgia! WTH! ...ERRRR! ...why would you not release it to all iMax theatres???

BTW @ my day job we've made parts for Hubble and the Shuttle, as well as Satellites

We're going to see it on the 23rd at our local IMAX theater. My wife's company had a huge part in the last servicing mission, so they're doing a special screening for employees and their families, complete with a live introduction by someone from NASA involved in the mission, and some kind of program designed for kids. My 12 and 6-year old boys will love it. They got to meet two of the astronauts who had gone up to service the telescope and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The only problem is my younger one is scared to death of 3D movies (so why am I taking him to an IMAX 3D movie, right?). I've got 6 days left to talk him into it, otherwise he'll be covering his eyes the whole movie. I'm betting the 3D isn't, in-your-face, action movie type 3D, which is what really freaks him out.

As much as I'm NOT a fan of watching IMAX at such an antiquated theater (man they really need to upgrade that place) ...I too am surprised 1) its not in Florida... 2) its not at the very least at MOSI ...or even somewhere near the Cape?

I'm a bit overly excited to see this movie since I get to visit the Cape (for the 1st time ever) this May and have lunch with the Astronauts prior to our Disney Cruise. My youngest son is turning 6 on the Day we visit the Cape...and he most certainly could be the one to aspire to be something great like an astronaut.

I'm also trying my darnedest to make it to one of the last shuttle launches for my boys sake...they will not forget one of those as much as I ...however it may because we bolt out of town on a whims notice in the wee hours of a weekday (school night) to ensure we see it

Peter thanks for the tip about Avatar...I'm actually going to take my boys to see Avatar & Dragons soon...I'll have to ask the theater(s) if they are running the Hubble preview during those
